Jim Schons is an Associate Broker with REAL of Pennsylvania with more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, specializing in investment sales, redevelopment opportunities, business acquisitions, and strategic property marketing throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding region.

Known for aggressive marketing, strategic deal positioning, and institutional-quality presentation, Jim helps property owners, investors, and business operators maximize value and attract qualified buyers. His experience includes retail, industrial, hospitality, mixed-use, redevelopment, and special-use properties.

My 50-year real estate career began in May 1976 as a residential agent in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. In 1982, I purchased a Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate franchise, and in 1985, I became a Certified Commercial Investment Member, known as a CCIM.

Throughout my career, I have helped others maximize their wealth through commercial and investment real estate. Personally, I have invested in single-family and multifamily residential units and developed numerous retail shopping plazas, mini-storage complexes, land, farms, timber, and outdoor billboard properties.

Today, I primarily help owners of land with mineral rights, including Marcellus and Utica Shale gas opportunities, maximize their full economic potential. My approach combines decades of real estate experience with investment knowledge, development experience, and strategic guidance for landowners and property owners.
